“What if You Could Stop the Yelling Before it Starts?”

For years, we’ve parented backward. You think you yell as a reaction to your child’s behavior, but your child misbehaves as a response to your yelling!

The skill I teach parents isn’t how to control the yell, it’s how to get ahead of what causes the yell.

I’m Sue! For 25+ years, I’ve taught parents not just how to stop the yelling but how to change what keeps leading you there. I use a system that breaks the cycle, anticipates the behavior and communicates expectations and follow-through. It’s proactive parenting instead of reactive, and it changes your dynamic forever.

Why Your Child’s Behavior Keeps Repeating

Changing your child’s behavior isn’t about fixing your child. It’s about changing how you show up.

I learned that after yelling myself hoarse at four kids while absolutely nothing changed.

Most of us have been taught to focus on the behavior: they don’t listen, they argue, they ignore us until we lose it.

If we want a different outcome, kids need something different from us to respond to.

That’s the empowering part: you can’t control the choices your child makes, but you can change how you respond: your words, timing, reactions, expectations, and follow-through.

The skill I teach parents isn’t how to control the yell. I show you how to get ahead of what causes the yell.

For 25+ years, I’ve studied child behavioral communication and helped parents understand what’s motivating the lying, pushback, tantrums, screen battles, and sibling fights.

Then we adjust your response, structure, and follow-through so it stops becoming the same fight on repeat.

A child’s behavior is communication, once you understand what it’s telling you, you can get in front of it and parenting gets a whole lot easier.

Parents Tell It Best…

“Sue has provided me with many sage pieces of advice about parenting. Most important, she’s taught me how to keep the lines of communication open with my kids. She offers age-appropriate advice on ways to get my kids to talk to me and has taught me tricks on just how to respond so they keep talking to me. She’s made a huge difference in my parenting style.”

“I wish I could keep Sue in my back pocket to always have her with me! Her insights and advice have helped me every time I’ve not known what to do with my kids. Her ideas are imaginative, real, and they work. With my three kids spread out in age, she has always had a great understanding of every age and phase. She has feedback no one else will tell you and delivers it in a most colourful, blunt, and honest way.”

“Sue has a knack for seeing through details and cutting to the heart of the matter with clarity and humor. She says what I need to hear, not mincing words, and I feel the truth of her insights in my heart. Her perspective and wisdom have helped my journey as a parent and deepened the relationship with my children, which is ultimately the most valuable asset of all.”
